The purpose of circuit training is to keep you moving by only allowing you to take minimal breaks between exercises.
It allows you to work your aerobic system while simultaneously working on your strength. As you are constantly progressing through the workout, you will keep your heart rate up, meaning you will reap the same benefits as someone who mindlessly logs all those miles on a treadmill, AND you will be constantly stimulating your mind, which will help keep boredom at bay.
How can circuit training help you?
-
However fit you are the intensity of our circuits can easily be adjusted to suit you
- Circuit training is excellent for developing good strength, core stability and toning
-
The intense pace of circuit training is an excellent fat burner
- Circuit training uses “compound exercises” which use multiple muscle groups at the same time
-
These “compound exercises” are more effective than spending time on individual muscles and machines
- You'll be combining aerobic and resistance (strength) exercises in the same session
-
Circuit training can be tailored to suit your time constraints. If you are short of time you can do just one circuit, which can take 15-20 minutes (including warm-up and cool down). Ideal for lunch breaks
- Circuit training can be done indoors and outdoors
-
Circuit training can be easily adapted to prevent your body reaching a plateau
- Circuit training is FUN!
